Please DO drink plenty of water to hydrate and moisturize your skin well for at least a week prior to your appointment. Remember to eat a big meal and have clean skin on the day of before starting your session. Bring water, snacks, blanket and headphones if desired! Remove any piercings in or around the area prior to your appointment. If you currently have a sinus infection or are ill in any way, please contact your practitioner and reschedule your appointment. Avoid smoking or antibiotic therapy at least 2 weeks prior to appointment. If unavoidable, please contact your practitioner for further guidance as antibiotics and smoking result in higher candida (yeast) count and infection may result.

  • Aftercare is a vital step in having a problem-free tattoo experience. Please follow the following aftercare instructions carefully for best results and to avoid problems such as infection.

Bandage stays on for up to 5 days. Try to protect it from peeling up on the sides as much as possible within this time period, especially within the 24 hour mark. It is normal to see buildup of lymph, blood, ink, and plasma underneath the bandage. Do NOT drain. Shower normally with warm water, not super hot. Avoid excessive workouts, hot tubs, saunas, makeup, swimming, soaking, and tanning for this time period. After the end of day 5, remove your bandage at the end of a shower. Peel gently and slowly away from yourself, similar to a command strip. Once uncovered with clean hands, gently clean your tattoo with mild warm water and an unscented, antibacterial mild soap, then gently pat to dry with a paper towel not a towel. Do not scrub, rub, wipe, or scratch the treated area. Wash your tattoo every night or every other night for 2 weeks. Following bandage removal and after each wash, use Aquaphor or soothing gel ointment (Mad Rabbit is a preferred option). Apply a layer at a minimum of 3 times a day to prevent your tattoo from drying out. If it feels dry and tight, apply the ointment. Do not put anything on your tattoo other than the soap, water, and aquaphor/soothing gel. No lotions, oils, tanners, etc at ALL. Never peel or pick any part of your tattoo. If you do, you will lose color, resulting in additional expense in re-coloring. Allergic reactions or infections are rare, but there is always a chance. If you are uncomfortable, please visit your doctor. Once healed, avoid hot steam showers as they can cause dehydrated skin and inflammation/cellular breakdown and always use a sunblock with SPF to prevent sun fading.

PERMANENT

MAKEUP

  • Microblading is a semi permanent procedure and is created with a handheld microblading tool to draw on strokes + imitate the appearance of eyebrow hair to create a natural looking brow. Service includes: mapping of brows, finding your shape and color matching, inital microblading session, and the 6 - 8 week touch up. At the touch up we will be perfecting your brows, applying more strokes/pigment and completing your look with fuller brows.

    $450

  • Ombré shading is a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that uses a small machine to place extremely thin dots of pigment into the skin, creating a soft-shaded brow pencil look. Shading is darker at the tail and gradually lighter towards the inner brow. In fact, ombré fill brows can be made to look very natural, by not saturating the desired brow shape 100% with pigment and allowing for a defined yet soft/non-solid look.

    $450

  • Nano brows are a semi-permanent makeup treatment for the eyebrows that creates the look of extra natural volume, fills in sparse patches, and modifies the shape of the arches into your dream brows. The treatment is performed with a tattooing machine, which is used to draw strokes that imitate the natural brow hairs between them. The needle that opens the skin is as thin as a strand of brow hair, so the strokes end up extremely realistic and indistinguishable from the natural hairs.

    $450

  • Combination brows are a combination of two forms of semi-permanent techniques: microblading or nano strokes and ombré shading.

    $450

  • Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and gives the illusion of fuller lips.

    $450

  • Eyeliner tattoo is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that recreates the look of wearing eyeliner. Using a tattoo machine, pigments are inserted into the skin of your eyelids, thus ‘permanently’ drawing on your eyeliner in the shape and color you desire. This can be performed on the top, bottom, or both.

    Starting at $300

  • Faux freckles are semi-permanent makeup tattoos that recreates the look of natural freckles on the face, and can be done on the nose, cheeks, temples, or chin. These can be done in patterns or placed randomly.

    Starting at $250

  • Come in with your brow, lip or eyeliner makeup on so SMB can see the everyday look you prefer. Referenced pictures of shapes and colors of all features are welcomed. Avoid tanning so we can assess your natural skin tone. Consult with your primary care physician if you are prone to cold sores. If you are prone to cold sores, please inquire about taking an antiviral medication prior to having your procedure done. Avoid certain cosmetic procedures before your appointment including botox, fillers, implants, and chemical peels within 2-3 weeks of service. Remove any piercings in or around the area prior to your appointment. If you currently have a sinus infection or are ill in any way, please contact your doctor and reschedule your appointment. Avoid smoking or antibiotic therapy at least 2 weeks prior to appointment. If unavoidable, please contact your practitioner for further guidance as antibiotics and smoking result in higher candida (yeast) count and infection may result. NO caffeine, alcohol and blood thinning medications (including ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, etc.) at least 24-48 hours prior to procedure. Please DO drink plenty of water to hydrate and moisturize your skin well for at least a week prior to your appointment. Remember to eat a big meal and have clean skin on the day of before starting your session.

  • For Brows + Lips, within 2 hours after the procedure, gently wipe away the old healing balm and any lymphatic fluid (clear yellowish liquid) that may have build up with a baby wipe. After 6 hours using a fresh q-tip, re-apply healing balm to area. Make sure to apply a light layer of healing balm morning and night to brows for 14 days. Within that 14 day healing period, do not immerse area in water, wear any makeup, or apply any lotions or oils that aren’t the healing ointment. When showering, make sure to avoid face area. When cleaning or washing face, make sure to avoid treatment areas and clean around it. Area of treatment is an open wound, using makeup may cause infections. Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins post service that may thin your blood for 24 hours. Brow, eye, or lip area (area of service) will feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to lightly scab over. Do not peel or pick at the scabs as this can affect the outcome and pigmentation. Do not excessively work out, swim, tan, or go into saunas + hot tubs for at least 14 days. No face scrubs, fillers, botox, microneedling, laser treatments, or chemical peels at least 2 weeks after. Avoid spicy foods + kissing for lip blush until lips are fully healed. DO drink plenty of water and moisturize! SPF is your bestie post healing.
