Please arrive with freshly brushed + flossed teeth to ensure maximum service retention on whitening or gems.

Eat a good meal BEFORE your appointment as you cannot eat for 2 hours post.

Try not to chug water right before since you will be laying on a table for an hour and will not be able to pause the session.

Do not eat food of a minimum of 2 hours after gem has been placed or teeth have been whitened.

Eat soft, light-colored foods for the first 24 hours.

You can drink water immediately, but avoid drinking any coffee, soda, tea, beer, wine, or staining drinks. Avoid colored and acidic foods such as chocolate, lemons, limes, beets, berries, pickles, and red or dark sauces as well to prevent staining and sensitivity.

Extremely cold or hot foods may make your teeth more sensitive within the first 48 hours of service.

Brush 2 times daily with a whitening sensitivity toothpaste + soft bristle brush to help the longevity of the whitening or gem adhesion. Sensodyne Whitening toothpaste is highly recommended for both services and is available for purchase at the studio.

Do not consume any sticky or hard foods to preserve the longevity of your gems.

Do not smoke or vape, especially within the first 24 hours of service. Note that smoking will reverse the effects of whitening.

The adhesive for tooth gems takes about 24 hours to reach maximum strength and adhesion to your tooth so be most careful during this time. If your gem falls off and you swallow it, do not worry. They are lead-free and body-safe. If your gem should fall off within 48 hours of the original service time, please contact us so that we can replace it.

You can still have your teeth cleaned regularly by a professional with any teeth services.

With proper care, tooth gems can last anywhere from 2 to 12 months.

If you regularly consume food or drinks that stain your teeth, consider having whitening touch-ups done every few months.
